Build confidence, gain experience and get in touch with your inner Ron Swanson. During this event we will be learning the basics of woodworking by building a simple box for your knick-knacks, jewelry, or your favorite bottle of… whatever. You will use the table saw, chop saw and drill press along with a variety of handtools including drills, hammers, saws and chisels. Emphasis is placed on good layout, marking and measuring technique to build confidence in your ability to take your ideas and build them.

Once you have completed the class you will be cleared to use the tools above at a variety of DMD build events including Drop In + Do every Thursday 7-9pm.

No experience necessary. Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
